They say copying is the highest form of gratitude. One of my friends did a "did you know?" theme for one of her posts on her blog. I've decided to copy that, so here I go: "Did you know that Ethan and Jonah went to Kindergarten orientation a few weeks ago? Elizabeth's teacher promptly stated that she gets one of them next year. I felt loved and appreciated! Someone wants to teach my kids!! Did you know that Jonah writes his name with two o's Joonah. Hey, close enough, right? Did you know that Asher has sat on the potty many times, with no sucesses yet. I have no huge desires to potty train him...yet! Did you know that Elizabeth did so well in Ballet, that her teacher told me to sign her up for the next higher class, which I didn't do because it's on Saturday and it takes up most of the whole day. Did you know that Josh just got another Anti-trust project to work on. Usually he does communication so this is good. Did you know that Megan is enjoying her...

Warm milk and ripe bananas

I wanted to write a little about my new blog: warm milk and ripe bananas. Basically it is a missionary tool that I want to use to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others. Since the readers of Pink Panda are mostly my friends and family and are mostly lds, I wanted to do a blog that talks about the joy that I find through the Gospel. As I do this, I hope to bring others unto Christ. So, I will be posting there whenever I feel so inclined. Feel free to add it to your blog list. I also own the domain www.pnkpanda.com, but don't know what I want to do with it exactly. I do want to put all my blogs in one spot: pink panda- private, warm milk and my pictures through picasa and links to my favorite blogs. Mostly this blog does it all for me, so I'm not even sure I need a websitest need to re-vamp this blog once in a while. Anyone want to tutor me? Anyone like Cutest Blog on the block? What other sites are out there? I guess I could google it. If I really, really wanted to. By the w...

Sick day

Image
It's official. I'm sick. I woke up around 4 am this morning with a cough and no voice. Dang it. I woke up Josh. I'm sick! You have to stay home today. I can't. Was his reply. Danggit. What am I supposed to do? Oh, well. I'll stay in my jammies, blog and let the little ones run a muck. If you were one of the luck ones that received my-call-for-help e-mail this morning at 5 am- lucky you! If not, that's okay too! I still love you, I just don't have your e-mail address. Plus, hotmail won't let me send e-mail to over 50 people at a time. Who knew? Help!!!!! Anyone???? I'm stranded in Maryland, surrounded by ice! My Mother and Father live thousand miles away! My nearest blood relative is a thirteen hour drive from here. Abbotts???? Visiting Teachers??? Anyone from my Church ward family? Help!!!!!!! Love, Megan p.s. I've been reading too much of www.thepioneerwoman.com- she is influencing my blog voice. p.p.s This will be my last blog entry at this blo...

What's new at the Abbotts?

Well, after an evening of pampering (a pedicure and hair stuff), while Josh was away at work, I sat down to watch The Office ( see www.nbc.com if you would like) and found myself watching the Vice Presidential Debate. What did you guys think about it? I though that Sarah Pallin shouldn't have worn black- but other than that I enjoyed it. Just kidding! I was impressed with Governor Pallin. Right away she asked Joseph Biden if she could call him "Joe" and that gave me a good impression. She reminds me of my sister Larissa actually. Very friendly and outgoing, confident and knowledgeable (Larissa- you should run for office!!). I recognized that both debaters used tactics to sway the viewers to one side or the other. A few times I found myself agreeing in a way to what each had to say. I'll just conclude with my thoughts at the very end: "I better get online and write about this and maybe- just maybe- contribute a little bit of green american dollars to the McCain/ P...
