Happiness

Elizabeth turned 24 on the 17th! Anzul and she had just gotten back from a trip to Sedona and he threw her a fun surprise birthday party. She was pretty surprised and it was fun to be there at their new home that they moved into recently.  I love Elizabeth! She is creative and fun, happy AND joyful- just great to be around! She is a wonderful big sister, a sweet wife and will be the greatest Mother come this December. We love you so much, Elizabeth!! 

Can you believe it?! Elizabeth and Anzul are having a baby boy in December- and they are due on my birthday- December 19th! We are super duper excited for them and for the family that they are just beginning to start. They announced it by giving us a gift bag after dinner that had a "First grandchild coming soon" onesie, ultrasound pictures and the positive pregnancy tests. We kind of knew it was coming because there were a few telltale experiences beforehand but it was thrilling to hear them announce it and give them big hugs all around. Elizabeth is around 6 months along right now and she is a super cute pregnant lady! She hasn't been sick very much at all and is just doing really well! We're so blessed! Can't wait to meet this little one near Christmas time!

    On a warm July 17th evening, Elizabeth and Anzul got married at the Phoenix Court House with his family and ours present. We were so excited to see these two joined in marriage! Elizabeth was stunning in her white dress and Anzul looked very handsome. The courthouse was packed with couples wanting to get married. The Judge was very sweet and funny and asked how they met and what their plans were. Afterwards we took pictures and went out to dinner at North Italia. It was a wonderful evening and we were so blessed to be a part of it! Welcome to our family, Anzul! Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Tirmizi! We love you!!

                             A week after Jonah proposed to Taylen , Anzul proposed to Elizabeth! They plan to get married in January of 2027 in Gilbert. We are so very excited for them!  Lots of neat things happening for us this upcoming year! Hooray!

I haven’t blogged in here for awhile. But, now I’m back! Hopefully you are all still with me.  Life has been busy! I’ll just briefly hit the highlights and then move on from there! Elizabeth turned 23! Hooray! Ethan came home from selling pest control and started working at In n Out. He and Jonah left together for BYU Provo in August and are rooming together. They are having the best time! We sure miss them though.  Asher had three areas and four new companions and hit his one year mark in September! He’s doing awesome! School started and with is Declan started 6th grade and Rosie started Kindergarten half day in a Montessori program. They both love school and say those exact words “I love school!” What a blessing to have found a great fit for these kiddos. Josh continues to work and take a few classes each semester for his PhD program in Complex Adaptive Systems. He absolutely loves school too! I have been staying home- cleaning the house, exercising, resting and reading. It’...
