Elizabeth and Anzul are married!!

Image
On a warm July 17th evening, Elizabeth and Anzul got married at the Phoenix Court House with his family and ours present. We were so excited to see these two joined in marriage! Elizabeth was stunning in her white dress and Anzul looked very handsome. The courthouse was packed with couples wanting to get married. The Judge was very sweet and funny and asked how they met and what their plans were. Afterwards we took pictures and went out to dinner at North Italia. It was a wonderful evening and we were so blessed to be a part of it! Welcome to our family, Anzul! Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Tirmizi! We love you!!

Asher is Home from his 2 year LDS Mission!!

We were SO excited to pick Asher up last Friday morning at the Phoenix airport! Jonah flew in from Provo to be there, Elizabeth came and we were all excitedly awaiting the touch down of his airplane from Colombus, Ohio. When we got there, we were standing next to Cody Tinney's family who was also returning from his mission to Pensacola, Florida. They had been in our ward before we moved to Utah which was pretty neat! Cody came out first and we practiced our cheers on him. Then, Asher came out. He lost his glasses a week before in a crazy, rainy game of disc golf so he looked a little different and couldn't see everything exactly very clearly. But it all worked out! Big hugs all around! And facetime with Ethan who was at a wedding and coming down the next day. We loved welcoming him home! Those hugs were worth the wait! Love you, Asher!! Well done, thou good and faithful servant!

Asher turned 20!

Asher turned twenty on the 8th of July! He has been home from the mission for a week ago today. We love Asher! It was so exciting to welcome him home (more on that later!) and it's been wonderful to have him back. He's played with Rosie, went cliff diving with Ethan and caught up with some old friends. He also got a Father's Blessing at the beginning of this new school year.  So good to have him back! You have a lot going for you, Asher! May this year be full of new friends, new memories and new joys!
