Rosie turned 6!

Rosie was so excited to celebrate her birthday at school and bring treats. They did a fun song about traveling around the world each year and she showed pictures of when she was a baby. One boy next to me said "she is so cute!" and pretended to faint. haha!

At In n Out- we love to go there for birthdays- it's close and mostly dairy free!

They made her a super cute birthday hat and several people wished her a happy birthday. She soaked up the love!

Rosie requested heart waffles with whip cream and sprinkles. This is before the extra toppings!


The beautiful sunrise on her special day. ❤

She also requested mermaid cupcakes for her friend party at the park.

So fun! A bit windy but a great turnout and they all had fun!

 Happy Birthday, Rosie girl! We love you! We love how you like to play chase games with your friends at recess. You love to tickle on the bed with Dad or me, you love coloring and glitter and mermaids and unicorns. You love Jesus and just the other day you said "I want to be in Heaven so I can be with Jesus." You are a sweet, energetic girl and are so loved!

Asher, playing the guitar at Elizabeth's piano studio I love how about half my readers are in California so that if I wait until 11 am or 12 pm to post it's only 8 am or 9 am there. Of course that makes it hard when you want to call your Mom at 9 in the morning and it's 6 am there! Oh, well! Also, some people in California have not been posting on their blogs. I won't name any names, Kristen! I don't want my blog to be a woe-is-me blog all the time. But, here I go. We are home again today, missing another field trip- this time for Ethan and Jonah (hopefully I'll get my $ back). Asher was burning up at 6 am when I checked his forehead while he slept and I knew that wasn't good! He woke up with a fever of 100.8- bleh! It was low enough to maybe take him to the babysitters- but 100.8 is still pretty high. Plus, he was clingy and grumpy. Holy Week

This week has been one of wonder and amazement for me. I usually celebrate the Holy week of Easter by remembering what took place each day of the week. This week has been extra special for me. I'm not sure why- maybe it's because we are studying Easter for Come Follow Me for Church or because I have two missionaries out serving who are sacrificing their time and talents to serving the Lord full time and I know what a sacrifice it is for them. They have taken Jesus's name upon their chest and represent Him full time. Or maybe it's because I have another son who is getting ready to serve just like they are- his mission papers just submitted this Tuesday evening. My life seems embedded and imbued with the thought of Jesus Christ and His Love and Sacrifice for me and for us all. It might be too, that my social media accounts- mostly Instagram- has been filled with post after post of Jesus Christ.
