I went to the Internist. Everything is normal. The Dr said it must have been a pulled muscle. I felt a little silly!

Ethan and Jonah Update!

Ethan and Jonah are doing so well! Ethan got transferred to the BYU Idaho campus in Rexburg, Idaho. There are two sets of missionaries working there and they ride scooters! He is excited to serve among so many people his age and is trying to decide if he should go there one day! He’s currently serving as Zone Leader so these next few transfers will be busy ones for him! We are so proud of him and love him a ton! Jonah is still serving in Woodside Queens now as a district leader. His companion Elder Toolbooth is from Guatemala which is Jonah’s favorite country so how awesome is that! He loves being in New York and while he wanted to get transferred, he’s excited to serve! We love you, Elder Abbott, you are doing an amazing job!

BIG news!!!

Josh has a job!!! This is something that has been in the works for a little while now, but Josh had a full day of interviews on Monday and yesterday morning he got the call offering him the job. As of January 3rd, he will be the Director for the Center for Law, Science and Innovation at ASU law school . Hooray!!! We are thrilled! There cannot be a better job suited for Josh than this one. It involves working with students and faculty, research, fund raising, administration, teaching and grant writing to name a few. When we left Maryland, we didn't know what kind of job we would end up with. Josh's law experience was all in a type of law they don't really do in Arizona. We figured that a law degree and 5 years experience would be on our side. And we found something better than we even hoped for. Isn't that how it works? Holy Week

This week has been one of wonder and amazement for me. I usually celebrate the Holy week of Easter by remembering what took place each day of the week. This week has been extra special for me. I'm not sure why- maybe it's because we are studying Easter for Come Follow Me for Church or because I have two missionaries out serving who are sacrificing their time and talents to serving the Lord full time and I know what a sacrifice it is for them. They have taken Jesus's name upon their chest and represent Him full time. Or maybe it's because I have another son who is getting ready to serve just like they are- his mission papers just submitted this Tuesday evening. My life seems embedded and imbued with the thought of Jesus Christ and His Love and Sacrifice for me and for us all. It might be too, that my social media accounts- mostly Instagram- has been filled with post after post of Jesus Christ. How on Sunday He entered Jerusalem for the last time under waving palm fronds,
