Review of October

And now blogging from Draper, Utah--- October was the kid's Fall Break and we headed out to Southern California (and mid California) to see both sides of our families and Grandparents for the kids. It was the first time Josh's Parents met Declan and it was so good for them to see him!

Our first stop was Victorville and after seeing my Parents, we walked to my sister's new house a few blocks away. It was great to see them and we loved Quincy's 2 year old exclamation "We have black widows!" Arthur, Declan's cousin that is 2 month's older- is the same length as Declan! What a tall baby! Fox is teaching 5th grade this year and it keeps him super busy! Amy is home schooling her two little ones and is probably equally as busy!

Arthur and Declan- cousins two months apart.

We went to this really cool rock shop in Barstow, CA. We bought some metallic rock shavings, tiny geodes and an opaque white rock that shines light through.

The boys had recently watched the movie Big and found this cool Zoltar machine. It's fortunes were pretty generic- no turning Big for us!

 New cousin- Sabine. So cute!!!

We stopped to see my sister on the way and their two cute kids. I love how Shayla and Declan are checking each other out!

Sisters! I never know where to look when taking selfies!

Declan and Kate meet for the first time!

We headed up to Paso Robles, where Declan met Grandma and Granddad and the Kleinmans and Andersons for the first time. It was a happy reunion!

Kate is baby #9 and follows 8 boys. She sure is cherished and loved! The brothers have to be encouraged to put her down and let her have some space.

 Highchair Time!

I still had (and have) my daily headache and this was my view 2-3 times a week.

Elizabeth finally got to go to the Temple for the first time and do baptisms for an ancestor and a few others. We were the only ones there except for a few others and it was a special, quiet sweet morning.

Declan got 4 shots for his 6 month check up. Poor baby. He wasn't as happy afterwards.

Our pumpkins before they got moldy in the Arizona heat.

A demeantor, a banana, a tiger, a lawn gnome and a red m&m invaded our house on the 31st, spread candy all over and fell fast asleep in their beds exhausted.

And that was our October. Hopefully the November post will be up sooner than the October one was.

Update:

-Headache still going and going and going...
-We're living w/Josh's brother until we find a job here in Utah. Or until Christmas. Whichever comes first. Prayers!
