I have a few questions for you-
1. Do you have all your Christmas shopping done? (It's the 9th. Just so you know!)
2. Have you heard of hueandhum.com? There is a free Christmas download on their blog. He is a singer in the band The Fictionist in Utah and she is an artist. Love, love their sound and I love new Christmas tunes each year.
3. What is your all time favorite Christmas song?
4. Did you know that it is great fun to have a dog? Who knew?
5. Have you seen Downton Abbey? It's a BBC series on Netflix. My Dad recommended it to us and I love it- it's brilliant!
6. Did you know you can watch shows on amazon.com? You can and it was awesome! Some are even free if you are an amazon prime member, although if you get netflix, it may be the same.
7. Did you know that it takes 3-4 hrs to bath, dry, cut and comb a Cocker Spaniel/Border Collie type Dog? I thought it took 30 minutes. Yeah, I'm a novice!
8. Did you know that we currently have 4 types of advent calendars in our house? 1 little squares of chocolate under numbers (the kids are always telling each other what number to open when they wake up and come downstairs- Jonah, it's 8 today. 8!), a chain from Jonah's class, a good deeds chain from Kindergarten aka land of the cute crafts, and Eric Carle's Dream Snow Pop Up Calendar .
9. Did you know that when you substitute at different schools you get to know all sorts of teachers and schools? I discovered Pioneer Elementary today and fell in love- the open campus, the fun kids, the big cactus garden in the middle, the fact that they are called the Prospectors and they had a Prospector with a santa hat. Oh, and an elf was working the lunch line. Love it!
10. The kids do a fun run after school every Thursday and they give out popsicles at the end.

3. My favorite Christmas album is by the Bare Naked Ladies. I love listening to it at Christmas time.
4. I used to love when our dog, Benny, would curl up and sleep in the crook of your legs while you watched TV.
5. My brother recommended it to my parents. I guess I should try it out. So much on our queue.
8. We have two kinds--chocolate and glue a fluffy beard on Santa. I thought Caleb needed the Santa one since he's missing out on the land of cute crafts this year.
9. I loved that about substitute teaching too. It was fun to see lots of different teaching styles and new kids each day.
10. Today I banned popsicles from my house until summer. Hannah made some and the kids were eating them in the kitchen and dribbling all over the floor.
