Mother’s Day 2023

( Today my kids are all 20, 18, 18, 16, 9 and 3 just for future reference). It’s Mother’s Day morning and I woke up early- enjoying some quiet and alone time. We had a great day yesterday- celebrating early! I had a piano recital that went really well and then Elizabeth and I went to get our nails done- her treat! It was lovely and I love how my nails look! I got pink- of course! After we got home Josh and Asher left to find the present that I requested: two pink towels and a razor. They had to go to 5 stores to find them! They were so diligent!! I haven’t seen them yet. Declan brought me home a pinch pot in the shape of a turtle and a cute card. It was a great pre-Mother’s Day and I look forward to today- resting and being with family. Who knows, maybe we’ll play a round of Apples to Apples- my favorite game! Happy Mother’s Day to all the women out there- Mothers in any shape or form!

Ethan and Jonah Update!

Ethan and Jonah are doing so well! Ethan got transferred to the BYU Idaho campus in Rexburg, Idaho. There are two sets of missionaries working there and they ride scooters! He is excited to serve among so many people his age and is trying to decide if he should go there one day! He’s currently serving as Zone Leader so these next few transfers will be busy ones for him! We are so proud of him and love him a ton! Jonah is still serving in Woodside Queens now as a district leader. His companion Elder Toolbooth is from Guatemala which is Jonah’s favorite country so how awesome is that! He loves being in New York and while he wanted to get transferred, he’s excited to serve! We love you, Elder Abbott, you are doing an amazing job!

Firday- I mean Friday

Sometimes I have to type fast to get my blog written for the day. Today it is Firday- I mean Friday. Hello to all my old friends, Eliza, Sarah, Katie and Melissa, whom I just found their blogs online. Who knew that all the time I was blogging, they were blogging too? Blogging has become the new scrapbook. Have I done my scrapbooks for the last four months? No. Have I blogged every week day? Almost! So, there you go. I mean, we did just move, so that always puts my scrapping on hold for a while. Although there was a scrapbook enrichment group yesterday and I really wanted to go- but Josh got in late and had a rough day, so we ended up watching the first season of The Office instead. I am such a slacker! Anyways- here's a recent picture of my kids. I seem to be blogging mostly about our new house, instead of my kids! This is my bglo. My name is Mgean Abbttoo.
