My Challenge Update
For those of you just tuning in to my blog, I set up a challenge 10 days ago. This said challenge included writing in my blog every single day, including the weekends, for a whole year, reading 2 pages in the Old Testament every day and exercising 3 times a week.
It's been a week since I made those goals and let me tell you two things:
1. I've made good progress- I've done more than I usually do and that's what goals are for.
2. The only goal I truly completed was to blog everyday. What does that say about me? That I can find more time to blog than to read the Bible? I still read my scriptures every day, but that extra addition is just not happening. I need to set a time to do it and just get it done.
There's a problem with that though. I want to read in the morning, but I wake up around 3 am and just can't see myself studying the scriptures that early. Going online, yes. Studying the Bible, not so much. So by the time nighttime rolls around and it's a more appropriate time to read, I have fallen asleep on the couch at 9:30 pm while Josh is watching a movie.
Um, yeah, no good. I actually slept in until 7 am this morning, the first time in a looong time. And I even went to bed early (see the previous 9:30 pm fall asleep on the couch with Josh time). So, if this trend keeps up, I should be able to do it! I'll log off now and go read.
This is my blog. My name is Megan Abbott.
By the way, I went to see my pscyh Dr. on Friday. She told me that everything seems good. Yes, I am talking a little bit more than usual and I am waking up more often, but she's definitely seen me more manic so everything is okay. I also learned that she is no longer covered on my insurance. So, I'll need to find a new Dr.- even if I'm not on any meds- and I'm okay with that. Actually, happy with that. Anyone know a good one?
