My Mom had knee surgery on Wednesday. She's still in recovery at the hospital, but she's doing really well. We hope you get better soon, Grandma!

Mother’s Day 2023

( Today my kids are all 20, 18, 18, 16, 9 and 3 just for future reference). It’s Mother’s Day morning and I woke up early- enjoying some quiet and alone time. We had a great day yesterday- celebrating early! I had a piano recital that went really well and then Elizabeth and I went to get our nails done- her treat! It was lovely and I love how my nails look! I got pink- of course! After we got home Josh and Asher left to find the present that I requested: two pink towels and a razor. They had to go to 5 stores to find them! They were so diligent!! I haven’t seen them yet. Declan brought me home a pinch pot in the shape of a turtle and a cute card. It was a great pre-Mother’s Day and I look forward to today- resting and being with family. Who knows, maybe we’ll play a round of Apples to Apples- my favorite game! Happy Mother’s Day to all the women out there- Mothers in any shape or form!

Ethan and Jonah Update!

Ethan and Jonah are doing so well! Ethan got transferred to the BYU Idaho campus in Rexburg, Idaho. There are two sets of missionaries working there and they ride scooters! He is excited to serve among so many people his age and is trying to decide if he should go there one day! He’s currently serving as Zone Leader so these next few transfers will be busy ones for him! We are so proud of him and love him a ton! Jonah is still serving in Woodside Queens now as a district leader. His companion Elder Toolbooth is from Guatemala which is Jonah’s favorite country so how awesome is that! He loves being in New York and while he wanted to get transferred, he’s excited to serve! We love you, Elder Abbott, you are doing an amazing job!

100.8!

Asher, playing the guitar at Elizabeth's piano studio I love how about half my readers are in California so that if I wait until 11 am or 12 pm to post it's only 8 am or 9 am there. Of course that makes it hard when you want to call your Mom at 9 in the morning and it's 6 am there! Oh, well! Also, some people in California have not been posting on their blogs. I won't name any names, Kristen! I don't want my blog to be a woe-is-me blog all the time. But, here I go. We are home again today, missing another field trip- this time for Ethan and Jonah (hopefully I'll get my $ back). Asher was burning up at 6 am when I checked his forehead while he slept and I knew that wasn't good! He woke up with a fever of 100.8- bleh! It was low enough to maybe take him to the babysitters- but 100.8 is still pretty high. Plus, he was clingy and grumpy. Plus, I started having that weird ringing in my ears that caused me to miss all of Church a week and a half ago. I can't e
