Top 5 Ways to Save for a Premium Starter Kit!

Image
We all know that sometimes it I s hard to gather up the $160 Premium Essential Oil Kit price from Young Living. We have a budget set out each month and beifre Injoined, there was not a category- Essential Oils. Now there is. I have my kit, I am on Essential Rewards (the monthly subscription box) and I love it! For me, I teach piano lessons and roll my income from that into my oils and other oily items. But, know that may not be be the case for you. Here are 5 quick ways you can get the funds needed for an amazing premium kit and diffuser. 1.Hold a Garage Sale.  I always make at least $50 so that would take a chunk out of it. Sell the items that don't sell at your yard sale online and people can come pick them up. I've taken pictures of the items at my garage sale and posted them with an hour until the sale closed. 2. 2. Sell other things online.  Look in your closets- find those shoes you wore once to a fancy event and put those online for sale at your local facebook...

On Young Living's Growth

Image
As some of you know, I joined Young Living Essential Oils last December. It's been a great experience and I've continued to grow and learn. Young Living is growing by leaps and bounds! They can no longer have an international convention in Salt Lake City- they sold out in less than a month and still many members want to attend- me for one! They will start doing regional conventions instead of international ones. Their new make up line makes up for 5% of the company's global sales. They are working on making a pressed powder as well as adding spf to their mineral foundations. Their newest diffuser- Desert Mist- runs for 10 hours and has ten colors with a candlelight flicker option. It will be added to a starter kit soon. I'm excited because starter kits are the best way to buy oils and I haven't gotten the diffuser yet! They have also found a place to cultivate roses for rose oil which will bring down the cost- yay!! I'm so excited for all of these n...

Happy 16th Anniversary!

Image
Yesterday, Josh & I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary! Wahoo!!! It was a warm, sunny, windy day that day in August when we got married in the LDS Temple in Bountiful, Utah. The wind made for some great wedding pictures as it had my veil flying all over! The weather was a bit different last night as well. We had planned a picnic on the beach and a romantic stroll hand in hand complete with discussions about where our life has been and where it is going.  Instead, the fog at Morro Bay beach was thick and grey, as usual Josh informed me. We had a great picnic with food from Trader Joe's and watched the surfers catch and crash on the waves. It confirmed a desire to learn how to surf. I have no idea why! We decided to take a stroll down the beach and back. The fog was so thick that the sand squeaked (have you ever heard sand squeak?! I haven't!) and the fog soaked my hair in minutes. It was so weird! We had used all of our "where our life has been and where i...

The blogging continues

Truthfully, I didn't think that I could stay away from this blog for very long. Blogging is my passion- or at least one of them anyways. I love to write. I love to put down on paper what is going on in my head. I love to add pictures as well. It was a good sixth month rest but now I want to write again. How are you? What have you been doing these past six months? For us, Elizabeth turned 14. Crazy, huh? Ethan and Jonah are 13, Asher is 11 and Declan is now 3! Wow! I turned 39 and am already making plans for my 40th birthday! We moved to Central California to be near family and are loving it! Josh will most likely teach Middle School Math- at the same school the 3 boys will go to.  It's been a busy six months, and I'm glad to be back!
