Happy 11th Elizabeth!

Such a cute, happy young lady!!!

Elizabeth,

Happy Birthday!! You have been looking forward to this day for a long time! You are not just double digits now- you are 11!!! (How DID this happen?!). You are close to 12- the time you get to join the Young Women in our Church, when you can enter the Temple to do Baptisms for the Dead, and when you will keep strengthening your friendships and talents and hobbies. You can get your ears pierced now, but I don't think you will just yet (and that's just fine with me!).

This year you:

-Love to listen to Tween Radio on Pandora. You turn it on, do your homework and dance when you think no one is watching (although I am). I think you get most of your dance moves from the Abbott side of the family, because I surely can't dance as well as yoU!

-Play the piano. You still get nervous when it is Tuesday- lesson day- but you like practicing and your Fur Elise is sounding so pretty!

-Play the clarinet. Your squeeks and squaks are turning into beautiful renditions of row, row, row your boat and Mary Had a Little Lamb.  I smile each time you start to play- remembering how I too played the clarinet and loving that you are do too!

-Love hanging out with your friends- going swimming, painting nails, doing crafts. Your best friends right now are Katrina, Allison and Anna. That can change, and sometimes it does, but right now these are your good buddies.

-Love learning. You try your best in school and you do really well. You and your Dad are still reading Harry Potter together at night and you are almost done with the 7th book! It will be strange to have it be over. You don't understand some of the reasons why things had to happen in that book, but you love it.

-Are a good big sister! Since I have been sick, I have had you step up more. You have taken Asher to the park, several times. You've helped get dinner started and then get it on the table. You are amazing and you will be an amazing sister to this new little one.

-Love beanie boos, babies, cute puppies, talking to your friends on the phone, swimming *you asked for a nose plug and swimming cap for your birthday*, the color blue, Studio C, Music and Dancing.

Elizabeth, you are a beautiful, smart, strong and amazing young lady. When you were born, I knew that you had great potential. I didn't know yet the young lady you would grow up to be and I am so, so proud of you.

Love, Mom
