Just a note...

It's Josh's birthday on Friday. He turns 31! Just so you know!

It's 89 degrees right now and will probably get to 97 degrees this afternoon! I feel peppy and happy! It may be the weather, or it may be a little bit of mania. Or it may be the dark chocolate, carmel filled giradhelli chocolate square I ate after lunch. Or maybe a combination of all three.

I had three dr. visits in three days: Monday,-Dr. Kim,my psych for a check up and because I couldn't sleep for awhile there. Tuesday, OB. Wednesday-Joe, my counselor, who gives me wonderful counsel. I have been seeing him for a year and a half now and from now on will just call or e-mail him if I need anything. It's kind of sad to stop seeing him- I love going to counseling and just talking for an hour non stop to someone. From now on my journal will be the one I talk to. Plus, journaling is FREE.

My Depression and the Inauguration '09

I went to see my Psychiatrist, Dr. Joshi, in Baltimore, Mayland today. I mentioned to him that I wanted to stop taking my medication (for personal reasons! You can e-mail me and ask me if you want to!). He replied that that was NOT a good idea. He said that my brain does not make enough seratonin. Lexapro does not give me seratonin, but helps my brain produce it. He said I should be on it for six months (I've been on it for three, so three more to go) and then we can start reducing it then. If I start having a hard time, then I will go back on it for next winter and try to go off of it next summer. Some people have to stay on it all their lives, but I don't feel that I will be one of these people. I want to still have more babies, and you cannot get pregnant on this medication. This seems to be a longer recovery than I originally planned, but I am giving myself until Dec. 2010 to work on this Depression and make more decisions from that point on. Baby Name Woes

Maximilliano? Declan? Antony? I am thrilled to be on the hunt for a baby boy name but for the life of us, we cannot settle on just one name. We are at a loss for a good, strong, meaningful baby boy name. Let me emphasize WE- I have quite a few that I really like (Brigham, Ephraim, Bennett, James) and would use in a heartbeat. Josh, on the other hand, hasn't been able to persuaded in any direction.  And this is a team process. Me and Him.  With Elizabeth, we went through just a handful of names, and when I said "Elizabeth"- my Grandmother's name- we both agreed and felt that it was to be HER name. In fact, when we found out it was a girl, we called people and told them "We are having an Elizabeth!" It has been a perfect name for her (Elizabeth Renee- Renee after her Grandmother on Josh's side) and fits her perfectly (don't all babies names fit that perfectly after awhile? Well, most of them!) Angels Among Us

My sister sent this to me and it touched my heart! I had an interesting experience the other day. I was meditating early in the morning. As I was meditating, I had a thought that I should ask, in prayer, who was with me. I did and the answer came "Rose, Robert and Abigail." These are the three babies that I lost from a miscarriage. I didn't see them with my physical eyes, but I felt their presence- sitting on the edge of our guest room bed, as young adults. They were happy, and pure. I felt that they loved me and they are watching over me. I want you to know that I believe in angels. I have had several experiences with angels when I was younger. I know that God sends us small little signs- a butterfly on your shoulder, a big bright moon, a gorgeous sunset, a fun mazda miata- to show us that He loves us and that we are deeply cared about.
