I was driving home from the gym and Sams Club today and hit the curb while I was turning a corner and got a flat tire! Luckily, I coasted in to home plate safely. I was glad to at least be home. Josh will change the tire when he gets home today. Crazy! This is my blog. My name is Megan Abbott.

So, yesterday I went in to the dentist to get some cavities filled. It turns one cavity had reached down to the nerve and I was told I would need a root canal. Ahh!! I nervously asked "is it painful?" No, the dentist responded, some people even fall asleep during the procedure. I thought no way. No way someone could fall asleep during something as serious as a root canal and then I proceeded to fall asleep! The dentist had to do a lot of prep work so there were down times when he was doing nothing in my mouth and I had been in the chair for at least an hour. Needless to say I had a great day. Why? I had a nice break from the kids. Even with a root canal? Yes, even with getting a root canal! This is my blog. My name is Megan Abbott.

Asher fell asleep at 11:45 am. So sleepy. He was sleepy to begin the day with. He was grumpy at the gym and a sweet eight year old said "He probably needs a nap." Yes, he probably did. It was all over for him when he cried over any tv show I suggested that he could watch. Now he's sleeping like a baby. Phew. This is my blog. My name is Megan Abbott.

I decided to take the kids blueberry picking this morning. Josh was gone helping someone move and it sounded like a good idea at the time. Until I got lost. I had the directions written down but could not find the turn off street to save my life. We drove around in dense forest while the kids lamented things like "are we lost?". Yes, yes we are. I had to reply. Finally, I promised them that Dad would help us find it when he got home. He got home and we dragged him along with us. We got there with the help of the address plugged into my gps (my gps wouldn't recognize the name of the place). Then we saw asign "blueberry picking closed sat and sun. No ripe berries." So sad. We saw another sign that said "slides this way" so we bought a snack and headed to some huge, fun slides. The kids had a lot of fun- probably as much as they would have blueberry picking. Asher getting his hair cut. So Asher was still asleep at 7 am, when all of our other kids woke up. Then, he decided to be a crying boy all of the morning. I took him to playgroup at the park at 9:30 and he cried saying he didn't want to go. No one was there yet, so we left so I could run some errands. He cried about going into Micheals. He cried about going into Target. He cried when I tried to bribe him to be good with some candy. I took him home and put him in his crib. He immediately crawled out. So we went to play group again- at 10:30. Luckily, people were still there playing. He sat on my lap for ten minutes pouting and then was up and about playing. Phew. Crying kids make me tired! Not much has been going on. The kids are in summer school and Asher hangs out at home with me. We go to the gym a lot and go for walks. It's fun. It's been weird having all three kids gone for a while. I guess that's how it will be in the fall, so I need to get used to it. I want to start potty training Asher in August when the kids are off school. We'll see how that goes. This is my blog. My name is Megan Abbott.
