Happy Birthday to Me!

I turned 43 last weekend! It was a great birthday! Josh picked up breakfast for me and we ate out for lunch and dinner! We ate lunch outside and realized not many places can do that!   A few weeks ago, Declan came home from school not feeling very well with a cough. He had no fever and a little bit of a sore throat and some aches. At first I wasn’t too concerned- it was just a cold, but after a few days of coughing we decided to get him tested. This time around the wait was 3-5 days! He told me- “‘Mom, I’m scared.” “Why?” I asked. “I don’t want to get it he said.” “You’ll be okay.” I told him. We stayed home, covered our coughs, watched Pokémon and finally they texted me the result. “You don’t have it” I yelled from a corner of the house. “Oh, good” he replied and kept on playing!
