Happiness

We went to the Concerts in the Park again this morning. They had a fun band playing and the kids enjoyed the music on a blanket. This picture is from last time, when they all got balloons! This is my blog. My name is Megan Abbott.

For Memorial Day we took a trip to Gambrill State Park, up near Frederick. The views were amazing and we were able to go on a little hike around the park and have a picnic lunch. We also went to our local pool, that had just opened on Saturday. The kids have been looking forward to this all month and they had a blast! Josh is now doing some work in the Northern Virginia Office of WileyRein. It's new and it keeps him learning! This is my blog. My name is Megan Abbott.

It is about twenty minutes from our house and has around five different little playgrounds. The kids had fun going from playground to playground, exploring the new sights. This is my blog. This morning I took the gang to a concert in the park for kids. The band- kiddopotamus- or something like that- was really fun and the kids had fun doing something new and different. Two of my friends from the ward were there also, so we had a good time being outside and being together. Everyone also got balloons and that's always a hit! This is my blog. My name is Megan Abbott.

We got a kindergarten workbook for Elizabeth yesterday. She opened it up and was amazed at all the possibilities of what she can work on- colors, shapes, vowels. It starts off slow with just colors and shapes and moves into word recognition and vowel sounds. It'll be good practice for her! This is my blog. My name is Megan Abbott.

Ethan, looking intense! Jonah, licking the frosting! Jonah, smile! Ethan, hooray for pirate gifts! The boys birthday consisted mostly of a family party- yummy food, cake, presents, good times!
