Happiness

  My Uncle Steve- married to my Aunt Sandy- passed away yesterday morning. He went into the hospital with pneumonia that turned into RSV and had complications. I am so sad. And Rosie’s caterpillar decided to die this morning. Ugh!  I shared some funny memes with my sisters and it seemed appropriate to do so- Steve was always making us laugh. From dressing up like Santa (he won a best Santa award once), to teasing and laughing and joking around- he was definitely the funny guy in the room. I love you, Steve. Say hi to Sandy and her kittens and your kittens and my Dad and the family. I will miss your jokes, your ribbing and your teasing. Thanks for being such a great friend to us all.

Rosie turned 5! She had a great birthday- going to preschool and bringing big glazed donuts for everyone. Afterwards we went out to lunch at In n Out- one of her favorite places and mine as well! We ran into a friend there- we almost always do. Afterwards we opened a few small presents- a mermaid light and a Unicorn wallet- exactly what she asked for! Her friend Eli also dropped a gift by- a Unicorn t-shirt and colorable magnets. That night we did a little celebration by putting candles in a Little Debbie unicorn cake and sang Happy Birthday. She loves singing, dancing, playing at the park and singing Gethsemane. Happy Birthday, Rosie! We love you!!
