For the past week, Josh's younger brother Ben has been visiting. His play Prodigy was being performed for the first time at the Brelby Theater up in West Valley and he also did a few showings of his one man play Questions of the Heart as well. We got the chance to see both and we loved them! We think everyone should go see his play Questions of the Heart! We have loved having him here and he has been wonderful with the kids- wrestling and chatting with them. They loved it! He even made dinner for us the night before he left- Sweet and Sour Meatballs with a vegetable tian! Yum!
On Saturday we went to the Riparian Preserve and they were doing bird walks there. We decided to go on one on the spur of the moment and it was a lot of fun! We each got a pair of binoculars, saw about 20 different birds and learned about the preserve itself. The weather was perfect!
On Sunday we went to the Mesa Temple and had a picnic. It was starting to get a little cool (it being Nov. 17th) so that will be the last one that we do for a while. They were also starting to set up the lights for Christmas! Fun! On Sunday the kids also had their Primary Program at Church and they all did really well with their speaking parts! It was wonderful!

A local Hummingbird- so pretty!
The sky is so pretty!
Us with our new sweet ride- we picked it up on Thursday and we love it (our van of the past 9 years didn't pass emissions and had many, many things wrong with it)! We were so blessed to find it so quickly and it is a perfect fit for our family! It's stereo is better than anything we have in the house so I am thinking it will be my spot to get away and relax whenever I need to. We hope it lasts us for at least 5 years!
A new statue of Mary and Joseph and Jesus that is set for Christmas time! It was a great week!
