We Need a Little Christmas!

 What is up with Asher making faces at the camera? This year the kids all chose a sibling to be Secret Santa to. It was cute to see them each choose the present they bought (when it was their turn to give out a gift) and give it to that person. Since they had taken time and effort to choose it, they were excited to see them open it. The boys got a lot of crafts/building stuff which is what they LOVE!

Angry Bird Pajama Christmas! They loved it! They did mention having Angry Bird slippers would be even cooler. I guess you can always improve, am I right?(Jonah, Asher, Ethan)

 I saw this blue M&M guy and just HAD to get it for Ethan. Elizabeth is wearing the very cute hat Mom Abbott crocheted for me and I love the color and feel of!



And almost last, but not least- Josh bought and refinished this musical jewelry box for me. He had this rose and my initials engraved on it. It plays Le Vie en Rose. I won't say whether it made me cry Ok. It made me cry. So thoughtful and sweet.

 And last, but not least, the kids got a trampoline. They've wanted one for so very long and having 3 boys and wonderful weather almost all year long and a good sized yard, we went for it. They helped put it together and have played on it a ton.

We didn't go anywhere for Christmas this year, but we had a GREAT Christmas. Hope you all did too!

Great christmas blog! I want to do mine too - maybe when Chloe feels better. I love the music box and all those silly, happy faces. I never want to go anywhere for Christmas. Home is best!

Love the nativity photos the most! What a fun Christmas and can't wait to come visit and play on the trampoline too!!!

I went to see my Psychiatrist, Dr. Joshi, in Baltimore, Mayland today. I mentioned to him that I wanted to stop taking my medication (for personal reasons! You can e-mail me and ask me if you want to!). He replied that that was NOT a good idea. He said that my brain does not make enough seratonin. Lexapro does not give me seratonin, but helps my brain produce it. He said I should be on it for six months (I've been on it for three, so three more to go) and then we can start reducing it then. If I start having a hard time, then I will go back on it for next winter and try to go off of it next summer. Some people have to stay on it all their lives, but I don't feel that I will be one of these people. I want to still have more babies, and you cannot get pregnant on this medication. This seems to be a longer recovery than I originally planned, but I am giving myself until Dec. 2010 to work on this Depression and make more decisions from that point on. Baby Name Woes

Maximilliano? Declan? Antony? I am thrilled to be on the hunt for a baby boy name but for the life of us, we cannot settle on just one name. We are at a loss for a good, strong, meaningful baby boy name. Let me emphasize WE- I have quite a few that I really like (Brigham, Ephraim, Bennett, James) and would use in a heartbeat. Josh, on the other hand, hasn't been able to persuaded in any direction.  And this is a team process. Me and Him.  With Elizabeth, we went through just a handful of names, and when I said "Elizabeth"- my Grandmother's name- we both agreed and felt that it was to be HER name. In fact, when we found out it was a girl, we called people and told them "We are having an Elizabeth!" It has been a perfect name for her (Elizabeth Renee- Renee after her Grandmother on Josh's side) and fits her perfectly (don't all babies names fit that perfectly after awhile? Well, most of them!) Angels Among Us

My sister sent this to me and it touched my heart! I had an interesting experience the other day. I was meditating early in the morning. As I was meditating, I had a thought that I should ask, in prayer, who was with me. I did and the answer came "Rose, Robert and Abigail." These are the three babies that I lost from a miscarriage. I didn't see them with my physical eyes, but I felt their presence- sitting on the edge of our guest room bed, as young adults. They were happy, and pure. I felt that they loved me and they are watching over me. I want you to know that I believe in angels. I have had several experiences with angels when I was younger. I know that God sends us small little signs- a butterfly on your shoulder, a big bright moon, a gorgeous sunset, a fun mazda miata- to show us that He loves us and that we are deeply cared about. He cares about us more than we will ever know in this life.  I know that angels are nearby and they are waiting to bless us, if ...
